AJMAN - In a bid to prevent crimes such as robbery and to curb factors related to them, the Ajman Police department will organise an awareness campaign to educate the public and the students in schools about Islamic values and to warn them of the negative social practices affecting the society, according to Major Khalid bin Hunaidi, Head of the Public Relations Department of Ajman Police.

The sucking out of sewage water from the septic tanks of many buildings in Sharjah and Ajman by tanker trucks operated by some private sewage companies is creating a host of negative environmental problems and posing a serious health hazard, say residents of the two emirates.
